Sanitation Technician II - 3rd Shift
A leading frozen food manufacturing facility in Gurnee is seeking dependable Sanitation Technicians to support overnight cleaning and food‑safety operations. This facility produces high‑volume frozen food products for major national brands and operates under strict USDA and FDA standards. Key Responsibilities- Equipment sanitation – break down, clean, sanitize, and reassemble production machinery nightly
- Facility cleaning – foam, scrub, and rinse floors, walls, and production areas
- Pre‑op inspections – participate in equipment checks before production begins
- Food‑safety compliance – follow all GMPs, PPE rules, SOPs, and SSOPs
- Power‑washing – use pressure washers and sanitation tools safely
- Team support – work collaboratively to maintain a safe, clean, USDA‑regulated environment
- General sanitation duties – perform standing, lifting, bending, and other physical tasks throughout the shift
- Other assigned duties as needed
- Stable, full‑time 3rd shift schedule
