Bindery Set Up Operator

Bindery Setup Operator – Gurnee, IL

Nosco is looking for a Bindery Setup Operator at our Gurnee, IL facility. This role is on our 12 hour rotating shift schedule.

• Operate available equipment to ensure production objectives are met.
• Cross train to be able to run all finishing assets in the Bindery department.
• Perform minor preventive maintenance/repairs, report any mechanical defects to Manager and Team Lead, and keep machinery in good working condition.
• Ensure quality system procedures are always followed.
• Ensure department meets all needs for customer satisfaction including OTD.

• Preferably 2+ years of Bindery (literature folder gluer) or similar technical machinery operating experience.
• Experience with basic Quality systems and documentation.
• Flexibility to work any shift and overtime. Adaptability to a fast‑paced environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Physical requirements:
  
  twisting, turning, squeezing, grasping, reaching, kneeling, crawling, pulling, extended periods of standing, ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Long periods of concentration.
• Speaking, hearing and vision essential to performing job functions.

The typical pay range for this role is $20.00 - $34.00 per hour.
