Job Summary
Advance operator that can be assigned to and work center in the facility and successfully operate the equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform the duties of the Operator position which include but not limited to:
- Visually monitor the molding process to ensure proper procedure, pack parts from injection molding and assembly machines and inspect general product quality and packaging to ensure they meet specifications.
- Ability to change and stock materials at the machine (bags, daily supplies, etc.)
- Work in concert with the Operator III ensuring safe and efficient production.
- Read, comprehend, and maintain the operating policies and procedures of the company as well as the requirements specified by FDA, OSHA, and other governmental agencies.
- Read and comprehend instructions and written procedures.
- Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned from time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements of the department/position.
- Foster teamwork within the company:
Develop and maintain good working relationships with all departments. - Complete all required training as assigned.
- Conduct all job functions in a safe manner.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing role in a similar industry/environment.
- Ability to spend long hours walking and standing.
- Must have familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices as well as current Work Instruction and Product Specifications.
- Ability to safely lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work well with others at all levels.
- Experience in the use of scale, tape gun, and pallet jack.
- Communicate verbally and in writing with a good command of the English language.
- Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), SAP and e‑mail skills preferred.
The hourly pay range for this role is $17.12 - $30.82.
