Process Engineer/Technician
The Process Technician supports injection molding operations by setting up processes, operating and monitoring molding and robotic equipment, and ensuring that all parts meet defined quality specifications. This role focuses on executing the production schedule, optimizing machine performance, and troubleshooting issues to maintain consistent, high-quality output on one of the operating shifts (1st, 2nd or 3rd).
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the injection molding process, including process set-up, robotic operation, and tool effectiveness to support the production schedule.
- Prepare and produce injection-molded components according to defined process parameters and customer quality specifications.
- Perform daily inspections, checklists, and troubleshooting on injection molding machinery and robotic systems to ensure reliable operation.
- Identify and troubleshoot process issues that deviate from standard specifications to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.
- Work toward departmental goals such as minimizing scrap, improving machine utilization, and enhancing overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Transfer key information to the following shift each day, including quality issues, process changes, and tooling-related concerns.
- Ensure that parts consistently meet established quality standards and customer expectations.
- Complete daily duties accurately and on time, including press startups, quality checks, and IQMS Real Time data inputs.
- Accurately and completely prepare all daily production-related documentation in a timely manner.
- Observe all safety rules and policies at all times, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Identify and share continuous improvement and cost-saving ideas related to injection molding and manufacturing assemblies.
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure that processes are robust and tooling performance is monitored for effectiveness.
- Support and guide employees on scientific molding techniques as needed.
- Report all recognized safety hazards promptly to help maintain a safe work environment.
- Work overtime when required by management to support production needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr. ESOP company-employee ownership Full Benefits Employee bonus program 401K Insurance.
