Loader Operator

About This Job

Nosco is looking for a Loader Operator at our Gurnee, IL Facility. This role is on our 12 hour rotating shift schedule.

• Operate available equipment to ensure production objectives are met.
• Cross train on all finishing assets in the Bindery department.
• Perform minor preventive maintenance/repairs, report any mechanical defects to Operator, Manager and Team Lead, and keep machinery in good working condition.
• Ensure quality system procedures are followed at all times.
• Ensure department meets all needs for customer satisfaction including OTD.

• Preferably +2 years of Bindery (literature folder gluer) or other technical skills operating machinery.
• Experience with basic Quality systems and documentation.
• Flexibility to work any shift and overtime. Work in a fast-paced environment with ability to adapt to change.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Physical requirements:
  
  Twisting, turning, squeezing, grasping, reaching, kneeling, crawling, pulling, extended periods of standing, ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Long periods of concentration.
• Speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.
