TECOMET is seeking a 2nd Shift CNC Machinist II to produce high-precision medical and aerospace components in a regulated, quality-focused environment. You will set up and operate CNC equipment, read blueprints and GD&T, select tooling, and hold tight tolerances using precision measurement tools. Responsibilities include in-process inspection, documenting quality results, troubleshooting issues, and supporting continuous improvement. You'll work with in an engineering-driven culture that emphasizes safety, collaboration, and compliance while contributing to products that improve lives and enable advanced technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate 2nd shift CNC machines to produce precision components to specification
  • Interpret blueprints, work orders, and GD&T requirements to plan machining operations
  • Select and install tooling, make machine offsets, and adjust feeds and speeds for quality and efficiency
  • Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools
  • Maintain tight tolerances and surface finishes for medical and aerospace components under regulatory standards
  • Troubleshoot machining issues, identify root causes, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams
  • Complete production documentation, quality records, and router/lot traceability accurately
  • Follow safety, 5
  • S, and continuous improvement practices to maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance and report equipment issues promptly
  • Support training and knowledge sharing with other machinists and team members

Required Skills
