What’s a typical day as Quality Inspector II? You’ll be:
  • Performing intricate visual inspections of complex circuit board assemblies and sub-assemblies to ensure conformance with quality standards.
  • Verifying correct machine set-up prior to production runs.
  • Selecting and reading appropriate documentation from a broad range of reference materials.
  • Applying various inspection methods, such as first article checks, sampling, or 100% inspection.
  • Accessing customer quality inspection systems, communicating with customers regarding inspection and quality issues, and conducting Post Pack Audits and Direct Fulfillment in-process Inspections.
  • Determining causes of defects and referring findings for correction.
  • Acting as the final checkpoint for finished goods prior to shipment.
  • Training other employees in Quality Control processes and procedures.
This Job Might Be An Outstanding Fit If You
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Bring prior experience in quality inspection, especially with circuit board assemblies (preferred).
  • Are comfortable operating a personal computer and Windows-based software.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data collection and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Can communicate effectively with managers, clients, and customers.
  • Are able to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Are experienced with basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percentages).
  • Thrive in standardized situations with occasional variables.
