Merchandise and Stocking Associate

Position Summary

Do you like to work on your feet and keep things neat and organized? Our merchandising and stocking associates connect all of the dots to make sure members can find everything they have on their shopping list. Depending on the shift you work, your job could include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders, or helping members while stocking shelves.

From unloading trucks in the summer to filling ice cream in the freezer, this fast-paced job can be physically demanding and is like being paid to go to the gym. Be a part of a great team with a common goal – making sure members can find more of what they love, for less.

As a Merchandising & Stocking Associate you will:

• Promptly unload trucks and stage merchandise.
• Assist fellow associates throughout the store.
• Sort and stock products on shelves and in the backroom.
• Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs.
• Maintain safety of the facility, conduct safety sweeps, follow forklift spotting, hazard handling, and report unsafe situations.
• Maintain sales floor and merchandise presentation – properly zone the area, stock, arrange, organize, and price merchandise.
• Monitor product quality: rotation, code dating, recalls, sanitation standards, and highlight promotional and seasonal merchandise.
• Complete assignments using policies, data, and resources; identify priorities; carry out tasks; communicate progress; recommend improvements; and adapt to change.
• Ensure club pick-up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging throughout the day.

Hourly rate: $18.00 – $26.00 per hour (depending on shift, location, and experience). Full time; shifts may vary.
