SMS Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable licensed plumber for an exciting opportunity with a reputable company that values your experience and craftsmanship:

Responsibilities of a plumber:

• Installation: expertly install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, fixtures (sinks/toilets), and water heaters.
• Service & repair: troubleshoot and replace sump pumps, battery backups, ejector pumps, garbage disposals, and tankless water heaters.
• Drain maintenance: execute professional drain cleaning, jetting, cable work, and camera inspections for residential and commercial clients.
• Structural prep: efficiently cut and prep openings for plumbing systems using standard hand and power tools.

Qualifications:

• valid Chicago or Illinois state plumbing license.
• 10 - 20+ years of plumbing experience (preferred).
• customer-service focused with strong communication skills.
• clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• tech-savvy: comfortable using dispatching software on a mobile device.
• physical ability: capable of lifting to 75 lbs.
