Role Description The Plumbing Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurnee, IL, overseeing plumbing operations on commercial and industrial construction projects. This role is responsible for supervising plumbing crews, coordinating daily work schedules, and ensuring installations, repairs, and maintenance are performed to code, on time, and within budget. The Plumbing Supervisor reviews plans and specifications, collaborates with general contractors and other trades, and ensures Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems are integrated effectively.

Day-to-day activities include inspecting work for quality and safety compliance, troubleshooting complex plumbing issues, guiding team members, and supporting customer satisfaction through clear communication and professional service. The role also involves maintaining accurate project documentation, ordering materials, and promoting a safe, efficient job site.
Qualifications

• Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, scheduling, and performance oversight.
• Advanced plumbing expertise with experience in commercial and industrial systems.
• Understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) coordination within construction projects.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction, with solid customer service and communication skills.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of relevant plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ability to work on-site in Gurnee, IL, and travel to project locations in the Chicagoland area as needed.
• Proven experience in a plumbing foreperson, lead plumber, or supervisory role in construction.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school, apprenticeship completion, or journeyperson license preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
