Position: Order Picker
Type: Part-Time
Location: Kloss Distributing
Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour (commission-based after training)
Job Description
Kloss Distributing, a leading distributor of some of the finest beers in the world, is seeking an energetic individual with a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility to join our team as a First Shift Order Picker
.
The role involves picking cases of beer and stacking them on pallets. Each case weighs approximately 20 lbs
, and a successful picker will handle about 200 cases per hour
. After one week of training, pay transitions to a commission basis, where hard‑working pickers can earn $15–$25+ per hour
.
Schedule
- Consistent weekly schedule
- All part‑time positions end by 6:00 PM
- Start time is noon or later
- Select days:
Monday through Friday
Responsibilities
- Stack products on pallets according to size, shape, and stability requirements
- Pick approximately 1,600 cases of beer daily
- Perform repetitive manual handling of beer cases
- Lift up to 160 lbs (kegs)
- Compute basic math without a calculator
- Operate a walkie rider pallet jack
- Other duties as assigned
