Role Description  The Editorial Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role supports the editorial team in reviewing and preparing manuscripts, performing text editing and proofreading, and ensuring content adheres to Hub Hawks' quality and style guidelines. The Editorial Assistant will coordinate with writers, designers, and marketing staff, organize files and project documentation, and help manage editorial schedules and timelines.

Day-to-day tasks include fact-checking, formatting content for different platforms, maintaining records of revisions, and contributing to smooth communication between internal teams and external partners. The role offers exposure to the full lifecycle of book projects, from initial drafts through to publication and campaign launch.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Text Editing and Proofreading skills to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
Candidates should possess solid Writing and Editorial skills to support content development and maintain editorial standards.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with authors, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
Candidates should be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Candidates should be comfortable working on-site in Gurugram and collaborating in a team-driven environment.
A bachelor's degree in English, Literature, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in publishing, media, or content creation is an advantage.
Familiarity with standard office and editorial tools (word processors, style guides, project management software) is beneficial.
