THE ROLE
At Josh Talks, storytelling is at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a Social Media
Intern who understands social media and has a strong passion for storytelling and content creation.
This role is ideal for someone who can identify powerful moments from long-form content, transform them into engaging short-form videos, and help grow Josh Talks across social media platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Watch long-form content and identify powerful moments for short-form cutdowns.
Edit engaging Reels, Shorts, and social media videos using Adobe Premiere Pro.
Design thumbnails and social media creatives using Adobe Photoshop.
Write engaging captions, titles, hooks, and thumbnail copy.
Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns.
Monitor content performance and provide actionable insights.
Implement data-driven strategies to improve reach, engagement, views, and subscribers.
Stay updated with social media trends, platform updates, and content formats.
Build and maintain an engaged online community across platforms.

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS REQUIRED
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (Mandatory).
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (Mandatory).
Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and You Tube.
Strong storytelling and content sense.
Ability to identify engaging moments from long-form content and convert them into high-performing short-form content.
Understanding of audience retention, hooks, and social media storytelling.
Knowledge of analytics tools such as Instagram Analytics, Facebook Insights, and You Tube Studio.
Creative thinker with strong attention to detail.
Strong learning mindset with eagerness to experiment and grow.
Deep understanding of Josh Talks' audience and content style.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Basic understanding of Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and You Tube.
Familiarity with social media trends, content formats, and audience engagement.
