The Role:
Creative, Visionary & Pragmatic Problem-Solver
As a Staff/Lead Product Designer, you aren’t just designing screens; you are setting the long-term vision for our digital products. As you stand as a custodian for our consumers, keeping your views in front of leaders within the org. You’ll also be the guardian to the team enriching, defending, challenging and ensuring delivery. What You’ll Do:
Lead, Innovate, & Elevate
Innovate & Elevate:
Stay on top of design trends and emerging technologies, bringing fresh ideas that push the boundaries of user experience on B2C platforms.
Product Design Execution/Ownership:
Own product experiences in certain pod structures, from early concepts and user flows to final execution and launch.
Define design direction for key product areas and ensure a clear, consistent experience across multiple touchpoints while advocating for users and balancing customer needs with business goals and technical constraints.
Solving complex user and business problems by turning insights, data, and customer needs into simple, effective experiences.
Functional Ownership:
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other teams. Influence product decisions beyond visual design and help teams make clear, user-focused decisions.
Identify opportunities to improve the overall customer experience across the product ecosystem.
Lead and mentor designers, helping them grow their craft, product thinking, and ownership by setting clear design standards and ways of working across the team.
Provide thoughtful feedback, challenge ideas constructively, and help designers make stronger decisions.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment where designers can experiment, take ownership, and do their best work. Raise the overall quality and maturity of the design practice through better processes, principles, and collaboration.
Who You Are
You have 7+ years of experience designing compelling user experiences for B2C platforms.
You are a systems thinker who sees the larger ecosystem, not just isolated features.
You possess the psychological power to place yourself in the user's shoes and a highly refined aesthetic sense.
You are opinionated, able to give constructive feedback, and passionate about establishing a perspective behind design decisions.
