Senior Business Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a  Senior Manager – Consolidation Business  to drive the growth and development of our  Debt Consolidation / DCP (Debt Consolidation Program) business . The role will be responsible for building and scaling the business through strong sales leadership, lending partnerships, distribution relationships, and a highly metrics-driven approach.
The ideal candidate will come from a  Banking, NBFC, personal loans, lending distribution, or tele-sales environment  and should have a strong understanding of lending products and the consumer credit ecosystem.
About the Consolidation Business Debt consolidation involves  clubbing multiple existing loans/credit obligations into a single loan , enabling customers to potentially reduce their overall EMI burden, manage repayments more efficiently, and in certain cases benefit from better interest rates.
While  personal loans form an important subset of the business , the role requires broader experience across lending and loan consolidation.

Key Responsibilities
· Own and drive the  Consolidation / DCP business , with end-to-end responsibility for business growth and performance.

· Develop and execute strategies to scale the consolidation portfolio and achieve  revenue, disbursement, conversion, and profitability targets .

· Lead and manage  number-driven sales teams , with a strong focus on productivity, conversion, funnel management, and achievement of business KPIs.

· Build and maintain strong relationships across the  lender ecosystem , including banks, NBFCs, lending partners, and personal loan distribution companies.

· Identify and develop new  lender and distribution partnerships  to improve product availability, customer eligibility, and business volumes.

· Work closely with lender-side operations, credit, underwriting, and sales teams to ensure smooth customer journeys and high conversion rates.

· Understand customer credit profiles and identify opportunities to consolidate multiple loans into a suitable lending solution.

· Drive  tele-sales / inside-sales channels , where applicable, and optimize processes for lead conversion and disbursement.

· Monitor key business metrics including lead generation, login rates, approval rates, sanction rates, disbursement, TAT, conversion, productivity, and portfolio quality.

· Build a strong sales culture focused on  ownership, accountability, performance, and customer-centricity .

· Work cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Credit, Technology, and Finance teams to improve business efficiency.

· Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce leakages, optimize acquisition costs, and enhance overall business profitability.

· Develop and maintain strong market intelligence around  lending products, personal loans, consumer credit, and consolidation offerings .

Candidate Profile
· 8–15 years of overall experience  in Banking, NBFC, Lending, Personal Loans, Loan Distribution, Debt Consolidation, or related consumer finance businesses.

· Strong  sales and business ownership background , preferably in a highly target-driven environment.

· Prior experience in  lending and/or debt consolidation  is strongly preferred.

· Experience managing or working closely with  tele-sales / inside-sales teams  will be highly relevant.

· Strong understanding of  personal loans and consumer lending products .

· Existing network across  banks, NBFCs, lending partners, and loan distribution companies  would be a significant advantage.

· Good understanding of  lender-side operations , including credit, underwriting, documentation, disbursement, and operational processes.

· Strong analytical and numerical orientation, with the ability to manage a business through data and KPIs.
