TRADEMARK SEARCH- SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Conduct comprehensive trademark clearance searches, encompassing both identical and phonetic searches, as well as common law search.
Exhibit proficiency in utilizing trademark databases, including TMView, Global Brand Database, and specialized search platforms such as Anaqua, Markify, or Corsearch.
Generate detailed reports from both commercial databases and publicly accessible resources.
Analyze the retrieved data and select the most pertinent references for inclusion in trademark research reports tailored for clients.
Identify potential conflicts by evaluating similarities in trademarks, goods classifications, and international classifications, while providing thorough risk assessments.
Prepare and deliver accurate trademark research within strict deadlines that are often high-volume and time sensitive.
Manage global trademark portfolios and coordinate efforts with foreign legal counsel.
Prepare trademark applications for submission to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and other international entities.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of the Trademark Dashboard.
Ensure compliance with business expectations and standards pertaining to efficiency, quality, and utilization.
Experience with watch notices, copyright law and domain name is advantageous.
Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in internet searching, employing various search engines effectively.
A bachelor's degree is required, along with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
Maintain strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Office, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Exhibit a high degree of organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask efficiently.
