Senior Associate-Global IP Prosecution

Position: Senior Associate-Global IP Prosecution )
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Associate to support attorneys and IP professionals in managing Indian and international IP filings and prosecution for our Gurgaon office.

Specifically, the Senior Associate – Global IP Prosecution will

Manage all email correspondence between clients and associates regarding patent and trademark filings, updates, and inquiries.
Draft clear, concise, and professional emails for clients and associates, ensuring all relevant details are included.
Coordinate with internal teams and external associates to gather necessary information and respond to client queries.
Ensure that all communications are in line with legal and procedural requirements.
Maintain a clear record of all communications, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of any issues.
Updating and maintaining daily dockets and tracker sheet for clients worldwide and following up on patents/designs/ trademarks application filings, prosecution, etc. with clients.
Updating software databases, formulating and sending emails.
Assist in quality assurance review for patent filings by noting and referring any errors or omissions during docketing to attorneys.
Acknowledge emails and assign them to the appropriate team members.
Follow up with clients, foreign associates, and sales teams as per SOP for upcoming deadlines or pending actions.
Schedule internal/external meetings and support general IP operations and administration tasks.
Request quotations, conduct cost negotiations, and maintain correspondence.
Maintain and regularly update the foreign associate network sheet.

Technical Skills

Excellent email writing skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and professional manner.
Strong attention to detail, particularly in legal and technical documentation.
Prior experience in handling patent or trademark-related communications is preferred.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
Any certifications of additional courses or trainings (in Intellectual Property or otherwise).

Qualifications

Any Degree, Engineers and LLB candidates will be preferred.
Any certifications of additional courses or training's (in Intellectual Property or otherwise) would be a plus.
