Patent Associate-Life Sciences

Position: Patent Associate-Life Sciences )
We are looking for young and dynamic professionals who will be responsible for preparing sequence listings and performing patent monitoring (mainly legal status monitoring). The professional can also be engaged in performing Non-Patent Searching including identifying products, recent news details etc. and helping team members in preparing reports.

Specially, the Patent Associate will

Understanding of US and Europe patent prosecution and corresponding legal status
Performing basic analysis of patents as per a technology criteria (if required).
Updating legal status of applications from patent databases.
Performing product searches for a life sciences technology
Identifying recent news articles for a life sciences company
Identifying current on-going litigation cases and extracting relevant information for these cases
Supporting team in preparing reports
Maintain project trackers

Experience

6 months to 2 years

Technical Skills

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Outlook
Basic understanding of US and EP patent lifecycle is preferred
Exposure to preparing sequence listing is an added advantage

Qualification

B.E./B. Tech, M.E./M. Tech, M.Sc./M.S. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biosciences, M. Pharma
