About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Group Manager – Group Benefits Life Insurance Operations to lead large-scale insurance operations and drive delivery excellence across multiple Group Benefits Life Insurance processes. This role requires strong domain expertise, people leadership capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and a passion for operational transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Delivery Management

- Manage end-to-end Group Benefits Life Insurance operations, including:
- Onboarding & Enrollment Support
- Underwriting Support
- Rating & Quoting
- Claims Processing & Servicing
- Renewals, Billing & Endorsements
- Ensure adherence to SLA, KPI, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction targets.
- Drive operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and continuous performance improvements.

Leadership & Team Management

- Lead multiple teams and process leaders.
- Drive workforce planning, performance management, and succession planning.
- Foster a high-performance, compliance-focused culture.

Stakeholder & Client Management

- Serve as the primary interface for clients and business stakeholders.
- Conduct governance meetings, business reviews, and performance reporting.
- Manage escalations and drive customer satisfaction.

Transformation & Governance

- Lead automation and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and internal control requirements.
- Support transitions, migrations, and operational stabilization programs.

Required Qualifications

✅ 12–16 years of experience in Insurance Operations

✅ 5–7+ years in leadership roles managing large teams

✅ Strong experience in Group Benefits Life Insurance Operations (Mandatory)

✅ Experience in client-facing and governance roles

✅ Graduate degree (Mandatory)

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ MBA or Insurance Certifications (LOMA, FLMI)

⭐ Experience in automation, transformation, and process optimization

⭐ Exposure to global delivery/onshore-offshore operating models

⭐ Strong analytical, MIS, reporting, and presentation skills
