As the manager of operations in the travel and Mice industry, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of travel services and MICE events. You will be responsible for ensuring Smooth operational process and delivering high quality services to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Client Query Management:
Handle queries of corporate clients, providing timely and accurate responses.
2.
Vendor Coordination:
Coordinate with domestic and international hotels and vendors for availability, rates, and other requirements as per client needs.
3.
Transport Arrangements:
Organize and coordinate transportation arrangements with vendors, ensuring timely and smooth travel logistics.
4.
Staff Briefing:
Brief and update staff on new rates, changes in hotel policies, and any operational updates related to MICE activities.
5.
Issue Resolution:
Provide solutions to issues arising during group events, ensuring resolution on priority. Address general complaints and handle customer concerns effectively.
6.
Client Coordination:
Manage day-to-day coordination with clients, ensuring seamless communication and client satisfaction.
7.
Customer Relations Management:
Assist in managing and nurturing positive customer relationships. Monitor and evaluate customer feedback to ensure service improvement.
8.
Research and Reporting:
Conduct research and prepare statistical reports related to MICE operations. Analyze data for continuous improvement.
9.
Team Supervision and Training:
Supervise and train staff involved in MICE operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery and efficient team functioning.
10.
Project Tracking:
Track the status of current and new MICE projects, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met within timelines.
11.
Itinerary Management:
Schedule itineraries by identifying, booking, and confirming travel routes, carriers, lodging, and verifying space availability and rates. Issue tickets and manage group travel logistics.
Qualifications:

Educational
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, event management, or a related field.
2.
Experience:
Proven experience in operations management within the travel and MICE industry.
3.
Communication
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients, vendors, and staff effectively.
4.
Industry Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of travel industry trends, MICE event planning, and best practices in the field.
5.
Work Under Pressure:
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
