Specific Responsibilities Would Include
Overall Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage handbag merchandiser team.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance reviews.
Provide guidance and support to ensure the team's professional growth and development.
Develop and execute handbags merchandising strategy, Collaborate with the team to analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to shape the strategy.
Work closely with design and the team to plan handbag collections that align with the brand's vision.
Oversee the team's efforts in determining the pricing strategies, and SKU allocation.
Oversee the team's efforts in establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
Participate in negotiations and key decisions related to terms, pricing, and quality standards.
Guide the team input and analyzing data, Review and contribute to regular reports.
Foster collaboration between teams to align efforts and achieve business goals.
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
Additional Requirements
Proven working experience in merchandising field.
Knowledge of Handbag manufacturing, including construction, fabrication, trim and print techniques
Creative mindset with a keen eye for product presentation and visual aesthetics.
Up to date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices
Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for working across diverse teams.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe products,
