At Fresh From The Future, you'll work at one of India's most advanced AI-monitored controlled-environment farms, helping grow premium-quality produce supplied to leading Ho Re Ca brands. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about agronomy, hydroponics, and modern farming technologies while gaining practical exposure to farm operations and supply chain management.
What You'll Actually Do
Farm Operations & Agronomical Support — the core (60%)
You'll play a key role in ensuring healthy crop growth and efficient farm operations.
Monitor daily crop health, growth stages, and farm performance in AI-enabled hydroponic and controlled-environment farms.
Execute crop production activities including sowing, transplanting, pruning, trellising, harvesting, and crop maintenance.
Manage nutrient solutions by monitoring EC, pH, irrigation schedules, and fertigation systems.
Assist in implementing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and Integrated Nutrient Management (INM) practices.
Maintain crop records, production logs, and SOP compliance for quality and traceability.
Support post-harvest operations including grading, quality inspection, packaging, and storage.
Coordinate with the Farm Manager to improve crop productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
Work with AI and IoT farm monitoring systems to support data-driven farm decisions.
Supply Chain & Farm Operations — supporting the flow (40%)
Help ensure produce moves efficiently from farm to customer.
Coordinate daily harvesting schedules with dispatch and delivery plans.
Support inventory management of farm inputs, packaging materials, and harvested produce.
Assist in procurement of farm consumables and production inputs.
Maintain stock records, inventory reports, purchase orders (POs), and goods receipt notes (GRNs).
Coordinate with vendors, logistics partners, and premium customers to ensure timely deliveries.
Support quality assurance, cold storage, traceability, and post-harvest handling processes.
Help optimize farm workflows to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.
Who You Are
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agribusiness, or a related discipline.
Knowledge of Hydroponics and Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) is mandatory.
Hands-on understanding of crop production, fertigation, irrigation, and protected cultivation.
Comfortable working in both farm and office environments.
Familiar with Microsoft Excel and digital record management.
Preferred Experience
Experience with Leafy Greens , Microgreens , and Vine Crops (such as cucumber, tomato, capsicum, etc.) will be highly preferred.
Exposure to hydroponic production systems including NFT, DWC, cocopeat, or other soilless cultivation methods.
Knowledge of post-harvest handling, crop quality standards, and farm SOPs.
Experience using farm management software, AI, or IoT-based monitoring systems will be an added advantage.
