Position SummaryLogan Community Services is seeking a Psychoeducation Group Facilitator to plan and deliver structured psycho educational groups for children and adolescents ages 8–18. This role supports youth in developing coping skills, emotional regulation, and healthy decision-making through evidence-informed group curricula.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and facilitate psychoeducation groups for youth ages 8–18 in individual or school-based settings
- Adapt group content and delivery style to accommodate varying developmental levels and needs within the age range
- Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging group environment
- Document attendance, participation, and progress notes in accordance with agency and ODMHSAS standards
- Communicate and coordinate with clinical staff, case managers, and referral sources regarding participant needs
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all agency policies and applicable state/federal regulations
- Travel between program sites as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field
- Experience facilitating groups with children and/or adolescents (ages 8–18)
- Experience working in a mental health treatment, counseling, or behavioral health setting
- Ability to pass an OSBI background check
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Comfort with basic documentation/EHR systems
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening (in addition to OSBI)
- Strong verbal communication and behavior-management skills with youth populations
- Case Management Certification or other credential through ODMHSAS
- Experience with evidence-based or evidence-informed curricula (e.g., trauma-informed care, CBT-based groups, social-emotional learning)
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
Compensation: $18-$25 per billable hour depending on education and experience
