Job Overview
Title: Nurse Practitioner (Locum Tenens)
Location: On-Site, Oklahoma
Shift: 24-Hour Call, PRN shifts (Call Required)
This Level III facility provides cardiovascular and vascular surgical services with established protocols to support operative care delivery. Clinicians are expected to integrate into existing multidisciplinary OR and cardiovascular team workflows upon arrival.
Responsibilities- Provide locum tenens coverage for cardiovascular and vascular surgical cases, primarily focusing on endoscopic vein harvesting for coronary artery bypass procedures.
- First assist in cardiovascular and vascular surgical cases and deliver intraoperative support to the surgical team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary OR and cardiovascular teams throughout each assignment.
- Document patient care and surgical details using the EPIC EMR system.
- Active Oklahoma nurse practitioner license.
- Board certification required.
- Prescriptive authority required.
- Experience or knowledge in cardiovascular or vascular surgical perioperative settings is preferred.
