The Anna L. Klein School is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Middle School Math Teacher to join our middle school team. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity and a love of mathematics while helping students build strong problem‑solving skills and a solid foundation in key mathematical concepts.
Responsibilities- Plan and implement engaging math lessons aligned with NJ Student Learning Standards
- Use hands‑on activities, real‑world applications, and technology to enhance instruction
- Assess student understanding and adjust instruction to support diverse learning needs
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
- Participate in team meetings, school events, and ongoing professional development
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field
- Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate (Elementary School with Mathematics Subject Matter Specialization Grades 5‑8 or Mathematics Content Area Certification)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for teaching and engaging middle school students in mathematics
