The Anna L. Klein School is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Middle School Math Teacher to join our middle school team. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity and a love of mathematics while helping students build strong problem-solving skills and a solid foundation in key mathematical concepts.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and implement engaging math lessons aligned with NJ Student Learning Standards
* Use hands-on activities, real-world applications, and technology to enhance instruction
* Assess student understanding and adjust instruction to support diverse learning needs
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
* Participate in team meetings, school events, and ongoing professional development
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field
* Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate (Elementary School with Mathematics Subject Matter Specialization Grades 58 or Mathematics Content Area Certification)
* Strong communication and classroom management skills
* Passion for teaching and engaging middle school students in mathematics
