This position is responsible for performing banking transactions for Bank customers in a timely, accurate, and courteous manner.
Key Responsibilities- Greet customers and assess their needs.
- Process financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and money orders.
- Verify transaction forms, endorsements, and customer identification.
- Maintain efficient service to avoid long wait times.
- Handle cash: count, order, balance, and record transactions.
- Accept loan payments and process night depository contents.
- Address and resolve customer complaints.
- Perform data entry and reporting.
- Crosstrain for Switchboard Operator and First Contact Person roles.
- Recommend bank products and services.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and confidentiality standards.
- Minimum one year of cash handling experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in basic math and computer operations.
- Ability to handle large sums of money accurately.
Willingness to undergo 3–6 months of on-the-job training and continue skill development.
Physical Requirements- May involve lifting items over 25 pounds and extended driving.
- Typical office environment with standard equipment.
- Regular standing, walking, and use of hands.
