YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist to support our Guymon, Oklahoma, processing plant operations. The human resources generalist provides oversight to a team of HR specialists and serves as a business partner to plant operations. This position supports the goals and objectives of the human resources team, such as change and system improvement projects, developing talent, customer service, labor relations, HRIS management, and employee engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure compliance with the collective bargaining agreement, company policies, procedures, and legal responsibilities.
  • Assist with conducting investigations as directed by the HR Manager or HR Director.
  • Issue routine discipline according to company policies.
  • Manage the attendance policy, including all programs associated with the hourly attendance program.
  • Be responsible for I9 management, leave management, and ensuring the system of record database is accurate and updated.
  • Engage and implement employee engagement activities.
  • Partner with operations management while maintaining an HR perspective. Establish open and trusting relationships. Engage productively and proactively in business discussions.
  • Perform special projects for the overall goal of the organization and department.
  • Review and analyze data to identify trends, provide insights, and make recommendations to stakeholders and cross‑functional partners to improve business results.
  • Direct the work of HR Specialists to ensure tasks are completed accurately and timely.
  • Be responsible for managing various HR processes to ensure the HR team is a true business partner.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • High School or GED and a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Analytically minded and willing to learn new computer systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including presentations.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or human resources field of study.
  • Intermediate in Microsoft Office;
    Word and Excel or other preferred.
  • Experience with an HRIS system.
  • Bilingual skills, Spanish and English preferred.

  • The noise level in the work environment depends on which environment you are in, which may require the employee to use hearing protection.
  • After‑hours, weekends, and overnight travel as requested.
