Overview
We have an exciting Inventory Control Lead opportunity in our Guymon Processing Plant. In this highly impactful role, you will be a key member of the box shop team. The Inventory Control Lead will be responsible for maintaining the inspection, verification, recording, and input of data into a system for the receipt and distribution of packaging materials for a pork harvest facility—ability to communicate and collaborate with management and operations effectively.

- Physically receive and record all packaging materials in the company’s inventory system
- Understand labeling and lot system for product packaging
- Conduct inventory counts, rotation, and transfer tasks, as required, and enter counts into the inventory control system using RF scanners
- Monitor, verify, and maintain inventory levels using existing inventory system
- Maintain system data integrity, ensuring entries follow defined nomenclature to support competitive sourcing events
- Operate a powered industrial truck (forklift) and maintain certification
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production employees in the absence of the Supervisor under departmental management direction
- Participate in department and company efforts to achieve goals and objectives
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with department leaders and operations management to ensure high customer service and accountability
- Comply with all food safety and workplace safety practices and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications- High School or GED.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- English required; bilingual a plus.
- Packaging and/or inventory experience, including mathematics and ability to interpret varying units of measure.
- Work experience in purchasing, materials management or other related field in a high volume, fast‑paced work environment is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, advanced Excel skills or similar application and M3 or other inventory control system experience preferred.
- Movement around the facility, regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Primarily an office environment with some field work.
- Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts; in outside weather conditions and occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
