Volunteer Horse Riding for People with Intellectual Disabilities
Our volunteers supervise riding lessons for individuals with intellectual disabilities at the riding schools Vosse (Haarlem) and Kennemergaarde (Santpoort). Lessons are conducted safely and inclusively, with hoists and aids available for mount and saddle accessibility. Certified instructors lead each session.
Your role includes:
- Assisting participants with saddling and mounting.
- Walking beside the horse during lessons.
- Running alongside the horse when the rider begins to trot.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers with a passion for horses and a genuine interest in supporting our participants.
