Industrial Engineer I
The Industrial Engineer I uses principles of technology and engineering to eliminate wasteful and inefficient processes in a production environment. Focus on reducing costs, promoting safety, utilizing efficient materials, and saving time and energy. Responsible for analyzing processes, determining areas of improvement, communicating effectively, creating documentation, and implementing training for new procedures.

Monitors operations with an eye toward improving productivity and efficiency.
Designs efficient production processes and workflows.
Ensures that processes are designed to ensure that products meet quality standards.
Reduces waste and addresses production issues.
Performs technical troubleshooting including but not limited to PLC's, controls, safety devices, sensors…etc.
Evaluates data to implement technological improvements in production processes.
Fabricates parts when required
Identifies potential locations and determines facility design.
Works with other departments to develop design and production standards.
Designs facility layout and personnel requirements in relation to production operations.
Helps to develop instruction manuals for production personnel.
Ensures that work processes are safe and addresses safety issues and concerns.

Education and/or Experience
- B.S. Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- A minimum of 2 to 5 experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of relevant engineering applications
- Proficient in Computer assisted design (CAD)
