We’re seeking an experienced AR Specialist to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will manage the full accounts receivable cycle, ensure timely collections, cash application, and support billing operations—all essential to sustaining our cash flow and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee invoicing, billing, and payment processing.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports; follow up on overdue accounts.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, operations, logistics) to facilitate issue resolution.
- Generate AR-related financial reports and analytics.
- Identify process improvements to optimize AR workflows.
- Occasionally assist with credit assessments and customer onboarding.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years in AR, preferably within distribution, transportation, or manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of AR best practices and accounting systems (e.g. Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, Quick Books).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical acumen.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
