Job Title: Manager – Fund Accounting

Location: Livingston, NJ (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Hybrid)

Job Type: Full‑time

Seniority Level: Mid‑Senior level

Job Function: Accounting/Auditing and Finance

Compensation: $125,000 – $140,000 (based on location and experience)

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple client relationships and ensure superior client service
  • Deliver fund administration services for private equity funds:
    • Review accounting records, financial statements, and support schedules (GAAP & OCBOA)
    • Review SBA compliance reporting, including SBA Form 468 preparation
    • Review capital call & distribution calculations and letters
    • Review waterfalls and partner capital account statements
    • Coordinate deliverables with Investor Services team
  • Provide career development, supervision, and training of staff
  • Engage in daily client and team member interaction
  • Handle internal responsibilities: filing, status reports, time tracking, etc.
Qualifications
  • BS Degree in Accounting – CPA or CPA candidate preferred
  • Experience in portfolio/investment and partnership accounting required, Private Equity accounting experience required
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF/THEN, XIRR, SUBTOTAL, ROUND, named ranges)
  • Investran experience preferred
  • Able to multitask and perform tasks under strict deadlines
  • Experience delegating, training and supervising staff
  • Experience managing client relationships
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
