Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a BE/BC Palliative Care Physician for inpatient and outpatient services. Under the supervision of the Palliative Care Medical Director, the faculty member will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent clinical care, develop and implement clinical protocols, and support system-wide integration of palliative care across diverse patient populations.

• Joint Commission Advanced Certified program
• Interprofessional clinical team including physicians, APNs, RNs, and SWs
• Patient and family experience enhancement initiatives
• Resource utilization optimization for complex cases
• Resident, fellow, and student education participation
• Potential faculty appointment with Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine
• Full‑time, flexible schedule with shared call

• M.D./D.O. from a recognized medical or osteopathic school
• New Jersey medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Hospice & Palliative Medicine board‑eligible/certified or ≥2 years of experience beyond board cert
• Interest in education and building a fellowship program
• Strong clinical and collaborative skills
• Ability to manage emotionally challenging situations and complex care planning
• Proficiency in providing specialized knowledge to all healthcare staff
• Team‑oriented with patient‑ and family‑focused outcomes
