Hackensack Meridian Health offers a unique opportunity for a physician with a passion for clinical excellence to join our team as a Per Diem Hospitalist Nocturnist. You will enjoy the autonomy of a per‑diem schedule while making a significant impact within our Internal Medicine Resident Inpatient Service.

You will provide outstanding care to adult patients and play a central role in the education of our residents and medical students. Your expertise will directly influence the quality of inpatient care and help shape the physicians of tomorrow.

• Experience – 3+ years of post‑residency Hospitalist experience required.
• Training – Completion of an Internal Medicine residency at an accredited U.S. program.
• Certification – Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Licensure – Must hold or be eligible for a New Jersey Medical License, DEA, and CDS.

The minimum base hourly salary for this position is $108.76. The posted rate of pay is a reasonable good‑faith estimate of the minimum base pay per the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act. It does not represent the full value of our market‑competitive total rewards package.

Full compensation is determined at the time of the offer and may be higher based on factors such as specialization, experience, leadership roles, education and certifications, productivity, skills, geographic location, internal equity, budget, and grant funding.

In addition to full‑time and part‑time (20+ hours/week) positions, HMH offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits. The final compensation and benefits package will be discussed during the interview process.
