Pediatrician Hackensack University Medical Center, Hewitt, New Jersey

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatrician to join the Hackensack University Medical Group (HUMG) team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive, high-quality primary care to patients ranging from newborns to 21 years of age. We are looking for a forward-thinking physician who is passionate about holistic care—including mental health and social determinants of health—and who is excited to help us innovate patient access and care delivery.

• Comprehensive Care: Diagnose, treat, and provide primary care, including immunizations and diagnostic testing, for infants, children, and young adults.
• Holistic Approach: Address the complete well-being of our patients, focusing on mental health and social determinants of health.
• Innovate & Lead: Help identify barriers to patient access and implement novel models of care (e.g., expanded hours, new care locations).
• Educate & Mentor: Shape the future of medicine by participating in the education of medical students and residents.
• Collaborate: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, supervise practice staff, and serve on HackensackUMC committees.
• Community Outreach: Participate in public health education, health screenings, and community outreach program.

• Education: M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Certification: Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
• Licensure: Active Medical License in the State of New Jersey.
• Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with patients, families, and professional personnel.
