Responsibilities

Position for Grades 3-5. Extra duties as assigned by the building Principal.

Qualifications
  • NJ Teacher of the Handicapped Certification
  • NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities AND NJ Elementary School Teacher K-5 Certification
  • Knowledge and experience with NJ Core Curriculum
  • Demonstrates the ability to implement NJ Model Curriculum
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong classroom management skills and experience with positive behavior interventions
  • Salary: $50,490
Additional Information

Replacement Substitute Teacher Assignment on or about March 1, 2026 through on or about April 10, 2026.

All alternate route candidates ("Certificate of Eligibility") must show completion of 50 hours of pre-service training through a DOE approved CE educator program prior to being interviewed for a position. The certificate of completion must be uploaded into the Appli Track portal in order for alternate route candidates to be considered.
