Leave Replacement Music Teacher

One Instrumental Music teacher to work at Fairmount elementary school. Conduct Instrumental Music instruction for elementary age children. Organize and implement instrumental music concerts yearly. Collaborate with administration and colleagues to schedule instrumental music lessons.

Qualifications:

• Appropriate NJ Teaching Certification
• Possess expertise and experience in instrumental music instruction
• Experience and successful practice working with students and communicating with parents
• Demonstrated the ability to collaborate with colleagues and administrators
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Must be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, students, and parents
• Demonstrate organization and management skills with coordination of programs
• Possess excellent behavior management skills, as well as, be able to discipline children with dignity and respect
• Possess a love of children and enthusiasm for supporting instructors in implementing high-quality after-school programs

Working Conditions:

Fairmount Elementary School - 9/1/2026 through 1/31/2027 Salary:
As per the HBOE/HEA Contract
