Job Summary- Implement high standards of conduct to foster a nurturing and trusting school environment
- Develop and implement discipline and character education plans that support code of conduct
- Support and address student attendance concerns
- Confer with students and parents on discipline matters, with administrator guidance
- Collaborate with teachers to support school learning and achievement goals
- Address the improvement of student discipline and attendance
- Collaborate with administration and other deans to ensure coordination with all stakeholders
- Assist in developing and administering practices dealing with building and grounds control and security
- Utilize technology effectively
- Document and track student conduct within the student data management system
- Prior experience in a similar position preferred
- Prior teaching experience a plus
- Knowledge of A Act and effective discipline strategies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, flexibility, and ability to collaborate with colleagues
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
Working Conditions: 10 Month Position, Middle School
Salary: $65,000
