Becht Engineering BT, Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer (ASCE Grade V). The ideal candidate has 8+ years of building technologies experience with a PE license and knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry, timber construction and building code requirements.

• Lead the development of designs for new construction.
• Perform forensic engineering investigations and reporting.
• Lead repairs and renovations of existing structures.
• Assess existing conditions, establish project budgets, and write detailed technical proposals and reports.
• Lead design efforts for all types of structural projects; report to the Principal in charge of the Structural Department.
• Use standard engineering software; strong written and oral communication skills.
• Construction or stormwater management design experience is a plus.
