This role supports System Inspectors on job sites, works with valve crews, assists emergency inspectors, conducts hydrant and valve testing, and performs flushing programs. The incumbent operates company systems, devices and software applications, and shares services with other business units in the NJ/NY Metro region as assigned.
PrimaryDuties & Responsibilities
- Assist the System Inspector on the job site, as needed.
- Assist valve crews, as needed.
- Assist emergency Inspectors only on the job site.
- Conduct hydrant testing, valve testing, and flushing programs.
- Assist System Inspectors with customer notifications.
- Operate company systems, devices and software applications.
- Perform duties and share services for other business units in the NJ/NY Metro region, as assigned.
- Perform other similar or less skilled work, as assigned.
- Assist employees of a higher classification, as assigned.
- High School Diploma/GED is required.
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must pass demonstration of abilities test.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Pay Rate: $38.36 per hour.
