Overview

Director - Head of Legal, Co-Sec, Compliance, Financial Crime & Fraud Divisions. My client is a financial services firm looking for a mid level Attorney to join an existing team of 4.

They need an Attorney who wants to work in an interesting and fast paced environment covering a wide remit to include regulatory work, treasury and wide variety of agreements. Exposure to clearing rules would be a huge plus as would a solid background of supporting an SEC registered firm. They are hiring on adaptability and attitude as much as anything so will consider people from different backgrounds.

You'd ideally have a strong exposure to financial services and having experience of dealing with the regulator would be a big plus. They are happy to look at coming straight out of a law firm or another in house role (within financial services).

You will need to have excellent written skills and be very interested to learn. This would be one of the more junior team members but there is a lot of interesting work to go round. They are based in New Jersey and would ideally need you in the office 3 days a week. A minimum of 5 years relevant experience is needed and you must be admitted to the bar in New Jersey or New York.
