Wealth Management Coach

The Director, Wealth Management Coach enables client-facing Wealth Management associates to deliver objective, comprehensive financial advice across the full spectrum aligned with clients' long-term interests. The role involves coaching advisors through planning, one‑on‑one, and group sessions, collaborating with leaders, and serving as a subject‑matter expert in financial planning concepts.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Build and maintain close relationships with client‑facing Wealth Management associates.
  • Coach and motivate associates to meet client goals by identifying productivity enhancements and best practices.
  • Collaborate with leaders to develop coaching plans influencing client‑centric sales practices.
  • Educate associates on TIAA's solutions and tools within the framework of the Client Engagement Model.
  • Participate as a keynote speaker at seminars and join client meetings to coach associates.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert in financial planning and demonstrate advanced proficiency in client lifecycle management.
Educational Requirements
  • University degree preferred.
Work Experience
  • 5+ years required; 7+ years preferred.
FINRA Registrations
  • SRC Indicator:
    Series 7, Series 63, Series 65, Series 66.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Life and Health Insurance License (Resident State) – Multiple issuers required.
Physical Requirements
  • Sedentary work.

Compensation

Base salary range: $160,000 to $170,000 per year, with potential incentive and bonus opportunities.
