Legal Billing Manager

Stable Law Firm seeks a Billing Manager to join their team.

• Oversee daily billing operations and ensure all processes are executed efficiently and accurately.
• Supervise and direct a team of billing analysts to ensure timely and accurate invoice generation.
• Manage billing systems, including user setup, security profiles, troubleshooting, and system-related queries.
• Ensure proper month-end and year-end closing processes are completed, including required reporting.
• Upload and maintain billing rates as needed.
• Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and system-related issues.
• Review pre-bills, process billing edits, and prepare final client invoices (electronic and paper formats).
• Administer e-billing platforms and ensure compliance with client-specific billing requirements.
• Set up specialized billing arrangements and audit invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure all billing is completed within established timelines and firm standards.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to attorneys, billing staff, and legal assistants regarding billing processes and systems.

• 5+ years of billing management experience.
• Law firm billing experience is required.
• Experience with SurePoint and Intapp is strongly preferred.
• Strong technical skills with the ability to manage billing software and troubleshoot issues.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
