Metropolitan Surgery Center is hiring a per diem Certified Surgical Technologist. The role involves scrubbing for surgical procedures and demonstrating competence while being a member of the surgical team. Responsibilities include maintaining a sterile field, preparing supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures, and supporting the surgical team in quality improvement activities.

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certification as required by state and/or center.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians.

Pay Range
: $35.00/hr – $38.00/hr (determined by qualifications and experience)
