Senior Scientist, Translational Neuroscience

Lead Researcher

My client is growing and is in need of a Lead Researcher to explore neurotransmitters, innovative substances, and large compounds within the CNS field. The perfect candidate will be a specialist in preclinical microdialysis.

Duties include:

• Creating and implementing experiments that utilize microdialysis methods with pharmaceutical agents and genetic modifications.
• Leading and conducting studies, including surgeries, dosing, and working closely with the bioanalytical team.
• Working with management to develop study plans and reports, and being able to explain data collection and analysis procedures clearly.
• Collaborating with external partners on study design and data presentation.
• Repairing and maintaining experimental equipment.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• PhD in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in microdialysis.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Additional experience in histology, pain, sleep, or surgical procedures.
• Demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational abilities.
• Preference for experience in drug discovery, management, and programming.
