• The Respiratory Educator is responsible for the orientation, continuing education, and staff development of the Respiratory Care staff/patients consistent with the goals of the department.

• Graduate of an accredited AMA Respiratory Therapy Program.
• BS or BA.
• Six years  experience as a staff Respiratory Therapist.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

• Masters degree preferred.
• Prior experience as an educator in the Respiratory profession.

• NJ Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
• NJ Registered Respiratory Therapist Certificate.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.

• Regular contact with Medical Center Personnel, patients and visitors.

• Lift a minimum of 35 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 165 lbs. and stands a minimum of 4 hours a day.

Salary:
This position is non-exempt with a starting minimum rate of $50.84 per hour.
