Overview
The Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution and clinical services ensuring the safe and effective utilization of medications. The Pharmacist is responsible for the dispensing and monitoring of medication therapy in accordance with all applicable regulations and standards.
Responsibilities- Dispense and monitor medication therapy in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Provide pharmaceutical care and clinical services to patients as part of integrated drug distribution and clinical operations.
Skills and Abilities
Required
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy, or equivalent, with a minimum of a BS degree in Pharmacy.
Skills and Abilities
Preferred
- 1-2 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
- Knowledge of principles of USP 795, 797, and 800.
- EPIC experience.
- New Jersey Licensed Registered Pharmacist.
- Regular contact with Medical Center personnel, patients, and visitors.
