Job Summary:

The CT Technologist position is located in Hackensack, New Jersey. The role involves performing computed tomography procedures and related techniques to produce sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation, as well as assisting with interventional and therapeutic procedures. The technologist must demonstrate competence in complex CT imaging, patient safety, and contrast administration.

Job Details:

  • Schedule:

    8-hour shifts, 3 PM to 11:30 PM, with every third weekend and holidays as needed, no on-call.
  • Required Qualifications:

    Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program; NJ Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Diagnostic Radiography License; ARRT Registered Technologist (R) license;
    American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; 0 years minimum experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    Six months CT experience; knowledge of Epic and hospital information systems (HIS/RIS).
  • Additional Information:
    The position requires lifting a minimum of 25 pounds, pushing and pulling at least 50 pounds, and standing for a minimum of 6 hours daily. Candidates must achieve ARRT (CT) certification within 12 months of hire. Flexibility for on-call assignments, holiday shifts, and overtime is included to ensure continuous quality patient care. The role involves preparing and positioning patients, administering contrast media, and monitoring for adverse reactions during procedures.
