Job Summary:
The Cat Scan Technologist performs computer tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation. The role involves assisting with interventional and therapeutic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of care.

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology and radiological positioning of the human body

• Understanding mechanical attributes of CT software and hardware

• Thorough knowledge of PACS system

• Maintains CEU Credits

• Team members must achieve ARRT (CT) certification within twelve months of hire

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within three months of hire

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program

• High School diploma or equivalent

• NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License

• ARRT Certified R.T.(R) license required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Six months CT experience preferred

• Knowledge of Epic and any HIS/RIS system added by the hospital

• ARRT certified R.T. (CT) license preferred

Additional Information:

• Scheduled hours: 3 PM-11:30 PM, every third weekend

• Holidays as needed

• No on-call

• Experience in CAT scan required
